Legal Cashier
An exciting opportunity for a skilled Legal Cashier has opened up in our busy and growing finance team.
We are looking for a diligent and motivated individual to support the Finance Director and the rest of the team.
The list below is not exhaustive but gives an outline of duties:
- Dealing with receipts and payments for both client and office accounts ensuring AML and SRA regulatory compliance
- Taking and processing card receipts
- Bank transfers
- Bank reconciliations
- Petty cash handling, posting and reconciliation
- Processing bills
- Assisting with month end reporting
- Purchase ledger
- Application of Client Interest policy
- Monitoring of residual balances
- Assisting with general accounts queries
- Assistance as required to ensure the smooth running of the accounting and administration functions of the business
Essential requirements for the role include:
- Legal cashier experience
- Knowledge of AML and SRA regulations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work as part of a team and prioritise workload
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail
This is a full-time role, and is office-based at 19 Hamilton Square, Birkenhead CH41 6AY.
